Kenozero – Akkuna 1
Some years ago, I travelled to Kenozero National Park in the Russian North. This trip inspired me to design a pattern collection with a North European folkloric theme. The Akkuna (window in dialectal Finnish) pattern was inspired by the decorative window frames of modest country houses of the villages in Kenozero. The whimsical and fun pattern would look great in wallpapers and upholstery and curtain fabrics.
