Outsourced design team for Deconovo

Besides selling single pattern designs, we provide also services as an outsourced design team for companies in need of fresh and bold ideas for their upcoming collections and business development. One such company is Deconovo, with whom we have been working since 2019.

Working as their outsourced design team, we have the responsibility of keeping Deconovo’s collections desirable for several customer profiles. The design process is very straightforward: first, the lead designer creates mood boards to confirm the current and upcoming wishes and desires of the customers based on interior trends and sales data. The mood boards are guidelines for our team of eight designers to create the pattern designs. When the pattern designs are ready, we make mockups to display how the patterns will look on products.

During the process, we have regular follow-ups with the customer to keep the agreed milestones and schedule. However, the lead designer has been available as the contact point for any design-related question or doubt that Deconovo has had at any point during the design process.

Besides a coordinated color palette and topnotch pattern designs, our service includes also material stating the originality and uniqueness of the design. Over the years, we have conducted competitor analyses and suggested potential positions for Deconovo in the global home textile market. The materials are sustainable these days, which is essential for a globally operating brand. Team play and design thinking have also been rooted in Deconovo’s internal processes.
