Ricordo Fiorenza – Chiaroscuro

In the Chiaroscuro pattern, I return to depicting three-dimensionality – a theme that interests me. The name of the pattern refers to Italy, and it means a strong variation of light and shadow in a painting. When designing the pattern, I was thinking about summery, hot Italian alleys, which are bordered by old, tall stone walls. I wanted to depict the variation of that rocky surface in the simplest possible way while simultaneously striving for the strongest possible expression.

This pattern has been licensed for use in flooring throughout Europe. All other license options are available.
