Very Peri Pantone in joyful abstract patterns

Published: 01/02/2022

At the end of each year, Pantone introduces color for the upcoming year. For the year 2022, this color is Very Peri 17-3938. According to Pantone it “displays a spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expression.”

We checked our pattern library to find what we have to offer to this hue of violet. Basically, we design the patterns to match for upcoming trends year or year and a half before the season, since the companies that use the patterns for their products need to start the product development process early in order to get the products to the markets on time. Most of these patterns have been designed a little more than a year ago. So we had a pretty good idea, that the vibrant violet will be trendy this year! As we have examined the future trends, we can say that this color will not vanish after this year and will be present in our interiors and fashion also in the future.

A selection of joyful abstract patterns in Very Peri Pantone color of the year 2022

The first pattern is Hanna Ruusulampi‘s ‘Revityt’. An abstract pattern sketched by paper crafting. It is designed for kids and the young-minded. It works best in bedlinen, short curtains, cushions, or other small interior products.

‘Paljetti’ – also Hanna Ruusulampi’s pattern is a wild abstract pattern that takes inspiration from disco dancefloor. It suites perfect for curtains, tablecloths as well as bedding.

Designer Tanja Kallio’s ‘Spot’ pattern is inspired by the lunar cycle and nature’s abstract ways. Photo-edited and digitally painted pattern has a vivid and visual Scandinavian style. Colors and lively painted style make this pattern interesting and perfect for night mood textiles.

Hanna Ruusulampi’s pattern called ‘Neon’ is inspired by neon lights. It is an easily combinable abstract pattern for kids and young-minded for many purposes.

The next pattern with splashes of color is a multipurpose pattern for both children and adults, for clothing and interiors. The design’s name ‘Ripaus’ means pinch – it could be the pinch of sweetness in your interior decoration. It is designed by Tiina Taivainen.

The stripy pattern is Anna Kuukka‘s ‘Hide and Seek’. Using organic, translucent brush strokes this pattern turns the conventional shape of rectangles into a game of hide and seek! Great match for any product craving for that little extra textured finishing.

‘Krassi’ pattern is designed by Miira Zukale. For this pattern, Miira studied closely the most common plants in Finnish forests and yards and simplified it into a graphic abstract pattern. ‘Krassi’ takes its cheerful inspiration from the round leaves of an ordinary every yard plant Indian cress.

Last but not least is Noora Hattunen‘s pattern ‘Chain’. It was inspired by the contents of Noora’s jewelry box.

We hope you find these patterns matching the Pantone color of the year 2022 inspiring! There is a lot more in our pattern library, and if the Very Peri is not your thing, remember that we can always adjust the colors of our patterns to fit your needs and desires.
