Nostalgic retro patterns for interiors by Tanja Kallio

Published: 28/03/2022

Tanja Kallio is our skilled designer whose absolute strength is creating commercial abstract patterns that are nevertheless unique. Her latest collection Atrium has nostalgic retro patterns for interiors.  The collection has three patterns with a crafted feeling. One of the patterns is a floral one and the two others are nicely skewed geometric patterns. Despite the retro feeling, the patterns are not worn out.

The ‘Deco’ graphic pattern is inspired by stained glass and art deco. This hand-drawn pattern Deco is suitable for interior textiles and home accessories such as curtains, table cloths, towels, and pillows.

The ‘Pinus’ pattern is inspired by branches of pine trees. Free brush painting makes the pattern special. It is suitable for strong interior textiles such as curtains, beddings and would be ideal as a wall covering.

The ‘Arundo’ pattern’s abstract surface is inspired by reeds. This block-printed rhythmic pattern works on different scales. Works well in color printing but also in jacquard techniques. Suitable for multiple uses on interior textiles and home accessories such as curtains, table cloths, pillows, and furniture.

These retro patterns for interiors and hundreds of other pattern designs in Scandinavian style are available for customers around the world with licensing terms. Get in touch with us for terms and prices!
