Patterns with the Pantone Color of the year 2025 Mocha Mousse
These patterns have a soft shade of brown similar to Mocha Mousse. The first pattern is Hanna Ruusulampi‘s “Somat” (the cute ones) with a pretty floral surface. This pattern has a spring mood and, the first spring flowers in the backyard. The colors are muted with a retro twist.
The second pattern is Tanja Kallio‘s and it is called “Villiruusu” (wild rose). This is a flourishing large-scale that delights the atmosphere of the space. The pattern is hand-painted with watercolors and is color-separated by rasterizing with the computer. The Villiruusu pattern is at its best in bedlinen but also in other interior textiles like curtains, and decoration textiles. It can be produced with printing and with the jacquard technique, and used for example as blankets or upholstery fabric.
The third pattern is designed by Anna Kuukka. It is called “Laululintu” (songbird). This pattern takes you on an atmospheric stroll in Nordic nature. The forest is filled with not only colors, greenery, and fragrances, but also birdsong! Hiding in the lush foliage, these songbirds give an elegant finish to the visual storyline. The design is well suited for interior surfaces and paper print products.
These following pattern designs have a graphic touch and only a hint of brownish color. They are both designed by Ammi Lahtinen.
First, “Star Mosaic”. It has the precision of geometry with its straight-edged stars and combines it with a touch of hand-drawn details. It plays with the contrast of solid-colored surfaces and densely lined structures. These combos bring an oriental bohemian mood to it. The original sketch was drawn with a blue ballpoint pen on a grid paper while listening to some course – like many design students, also Ammi often doodled during lessons.
Last but not least is the pattern called “Moment of Bloom” It is a visual memory from the end of summer when the evenings are already slowly darkening: You are looking around the garden and catching the phase when the full bloom is about to disappear. It might take just one windy night, and all the flowers would be gone.
