Surface designs for bed heads of France Bed

One of our first references is from Japan and France Bed – a company that was looking for surface designs for bed heads. We met the kind representative of this company at Heimtextil fair in January 2016. Heimtextil is the largest fair for home textiles in the world.

After the representative’s initial decision for potentially suitable patterns, the entire team gathered up in Japan for a live video stream from our exhibition booth. By the end of the meeting, France Bed had acquired three new patterns to be used for their bed heads.

Besides the pattern data files, we delivered to France Bed also the images and bios of the designers who had been designing the acquired patterns. Naturally, the pattern stories were also attached. The image taken at France Bed showroom states, that the provided material is in use, and that good design and stories related to it make a difference.

This project is a perfect example of the importance of surface design. These days you can decorate almost any surface with pattern designs, as the number of techniques is numerous. Surface designing makes the objects much more interesting compared with their bleak counterparts.
